The St Bride Foundation Institute commissioned new furniture for the Salisbury room.   The brief required that the table, to seat 22, should be capable of accommodating different types of meetings or cleared for a lecture arrangement.    Whatever the arrangement the furniture had to remain in the room.   My solution was to make the various sections of table fold into nice side tables when placed around the walls.   The illustrations below show various arrangements.
