Falling Water is a collaboration between Martin Grierson and carver Georgy Mkrtichian.

Made in solid quarter sawn english brown oak and lined inside with cedar of lebanon, this piece brings together the Arts & Crafts concept of collaboration between two craftsmen with different skills to contribute.

The carving is superbly carried out by hand and the surface left from the chisel.   This leaves a beautiful finish that sandpaper would dull.   It could not be achieved by machine.   This piece will fit happily into period settings as well as contemporary ones.
